HUNDREDS OF HUMAN PARTS BURIED IN A CALABAR CHURCH
The General Overseer and founder of the Royal God’s Commandment Ministry, No 3 Okon Edak Street, off Atamunu, in Calabar South local government area of Cross River State, Rev. Tony Obo and some of his members have arrested by the Police in Calabar.
The Rev Obo suspected to be ritualist was arrested along side six of his members on Thursday. When DAILY POST visited the Church on Friday, large crowd of people were seen while the Church had been demolished and some of the property set on ablaze.
Consequently, some brave and energetic males in the area were equally seen excavating the ground and bringing out decomposed human parts. An eyewitness told our correspondent that some of the male members alleged to be agents of the Pastor kidnapped a baby and were recognized by the villagers.
Over a hundred different kinds of human pictures mostly women, personal property including clothes and decomposed human parts were recovered. Large number of people were also seen thronging the area to watch the excavated human parts.
According to an eye witness, the Pastor was visibly angry with the vigilantes who took the police to his house, stating that he had been paying them.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Ms Irene Ugbo told our correspondent on phone that seven suspected ritualists were arrested and they are with the Police and interrogation was in progress. She said the suspects will soon be charged to court after investigations.
