Governor AbdulAziz Yari of Zamfara State, in a highly commendable gesture stopped his convoy when he came across accident victims on his way from Mafara to Sokoto. The Governor stopped his convoy to assist some accident victims on Dogon Awo road. The accident occurred on Tuesday 22 August, 2017.
The Governor came out of his car under the heavy rain to assist in carrying the victims who were injured especially an 8 year old boy to Talata Mafara General Hospital using the government house ambulance. Also,he gave a donation of #500,000 to the victims.
