Longtime actor who won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1995 for his role in Leaving Las Vegas. He has also starred in such films as Gone in 60 Seconds, The Rock, National Treasure, Adaptation and Kick-Ass.  He sold popcorn at a Los Angeles theater after dropping out of high school at age seventeen. He attended UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television. He briefly appears in the 1982 film Fast Times at Ridgemont High, working at a burger shop, but he has no dialogue in the movie. He provided the voice for Grug in the movie The Croods.
